Bottle pre-washing machine for plastic recycling
A pre-washing machine removes impurity stuffs from the PET bottles before crushing. The machine is normally placed after the bale breaker. It can remove up to 90% contamination of the bottles. Bottles are fed to the recycling line are first met the bale breaker. They are then conveyed to pre-washing machine to remove impurity as much as possible.
There are 2 types of pre-washing machine: Continuous type and Batch type.
- Continuous type: this type of machine owns an automated water circulation system and continuous input feeding. It uses high-temperature chemical water to wash bottles. This kind of washing removes labels, dirt, sands, glues, rubbers, metals and other impurities on the bottles’ surfaces. The impurities separation rate is over 90%. To separate totally chemical water and bottles, as well as saving additive cost, a supplementary chemical water recycling system is recommended.
- Batch type: This type applied to recycle oil bottles. The function is to ensures that PET bottles have sufficient time soaking in chemical water so that oil is highly removed.
Usually, prewashing machine combined the power functions of machinery, chemistry and heat energy enable to separate and remove over 90% impurities (including environment polluted substances and labels, but thermal shrinkage PVC labels excluded). Afterwards process equipment will be protected properly due to purified bottle bodies. Especially the crusher will less suffer because of those hard-solid substances were removed.
A dry trammel can be added to do dry bottle prewashing to remove most of the solid objects from the bottles surface to reduce the chemical and water consumption.
Input Capacity: 1,500-6000 kg/h
