Removing PVC label is a must-do step in PET recycling. Shrinkage PVC label removing machine (or label scrappers) can help you do this step easily. The PVC label scrapping machine is used to tear PVC labels and other plastic labels, and broken labels will be separated from the PET bottles by pneumatic power in Label blower.

Label comes in different types, such as paper label, glued label. Especially, shrink-sleeve PVC labels are known for eye-catching designs and it’s everywhere on food, beverages and consumer products. Most labels will be removed in bottle prewashing process except the PVC labels which is formed by thermal shrinkage.  PVC labels create a variety of challenges, as they add to the complexity for the PET recycler. It’s highly undesirable to have PVC mixed with PET in recycling.

Types of shrinkage (PVC) label removing machine: There are two types of heat-shrinkage (PVC) label removing machine:

1/ Standard label removing machine: consists of a label scrapper and a label blower. Capacity: 4,000 kg/h.

2/ Compact label removing machine: remove labels by two functions combined with scrapping and blowing. The compact label remover occupies less space and has a compact mechanical structure.
